Terms

These are the terms for playing daily.surf and for its membership, Surf Club. By using the site you agree to them. The short version: the Daily Surf is free, Surf Club costs $2.99 a month or $19.99 a year, and you can cancel any time.

Playing

Each day, three of daily.surf's games make up the Daily Surf, free to play without an account. The other games that day are for Surf Club members. Which games are free changes every day. We may change, add, or retire games and features.

Surf Club

  • Price. $2.99 a month or $19.99 a year, set in US dollars. Checkout may show and charge the same price in your local currency. Any sales tax or VAT is added on top and shown at checkout.
  • Who sells it. Surf Club is sold through Link, Stripe's merchant of record service (Stripe Managed Payments). Link takes your payment, handles tax, and sends your receipts, under its own terms, which you accept at checkout. Your card statement shows LINK.COM* DAILY.SURF.
  • The free trial. Your first membership starts with 7 days free. We ask for a card up front, and Link emails you when the trial starts. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your plan starts and your card is charged. The trial is one per person: an account that has had one, or someone opening another account to get another, won't get it again.
  • Renewal. Your plan renews automatically each month or year, and your card is charged at each renewal, until you cancel. Your account page shows your next renewal date, and yearly members get a reminder email before each yearly renewal.
  • Who can join. You need to be old enough to make a contract where you live (18 in most places), or have a parent's or guardian's permission.
  • One person. A membership is for you; please don't share your account.

Cancelling and refunds

  • Cancel any time. Go to your account, then Manage plan and payment, and cancel there, or manage your subscription at link.com. No emails, no calls.
  • Your access runs to the end of the period. After you cancel, you keep Surf Club until the end of the month or year you've paid for (or the end of your trial), and you aren't charged again.
  • Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing.
  • Refunds. We don't refund part-used months or years. If you were charged by mistake, or something went wrong, write to us and we'll put it right. Link's support can also help with a charge, and may refund it within 60 days in some cases.
  • Deleting your account (on your account page) ends your subscription at once, without a refund for the time left, and deletes your membership and synced results.
  • Price changes. If the price changes, we'll email you first, and the new price applies from your next renewal after that. You can cancel before it does.
  • Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer law where you live, including any cooling-off period it gives you, which Link applies at checkout.

Fair play

Please don't scrape the site, play with bots or scripts, get around the Surf Club lock, or interfere with the site or other players. We may suspend or close an account that does; if we close a paying account for any other reason, we'll refund the unused time.

The figures

The games are for fun. Figures come from public sources, credited in each game, and may be rounded or out of date. Nothing here is investment, financial, or other advice.

The site as it is

We work to keep daily.surf running and correct, but we provide it as it is, without warranties, and as far as the law allows we aren't liable for indirect losses or for more than you paid us in the last twelve months.

Your privacy

What we keep, and who else is involved, is in our privacy policy.

Changes

If these terms change, we'll update them here and change the date at the top. For a change that matters to members, we'll email them before it takes effect.
