Privacy
daily.surf is a free daily game. You don't sign up, and we never ask for your name, email, or anything else about you. Here is everything the site keeps, and who else is involved.
When you finish a daily puzzle
To put your score on the day's curve, our server stores one record for the game:
- the puzzle number, your eight matches' scores, your total, and the time you finished;
- a one-way code made from a random ID your browser created, salted with the day, so the same device only counts once a day. It can't be turned back into the ID, and codes from different days can't be linked to each other.
That's all: no names, emails, placements, or IP addresses. To slow down automated abuse, the server briefly keeps a scrambled version of your IP address in memory, never on disk, and forgets it within about ten minutes. Practice games are never stored on our server. Our host, Vercel, handles each request to run the site, as any web host does.
On your device
Your browser's local storage keeps your game in progress, your results, your streak, your motion setting, and the random device ID above. It stays on your device; only the device ID is sent, with a finished daily game, and only as the one-way code described above. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all of it.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies and doesn't store your IP address; it records the page, the referring site, and your rough location, browser, and device type, as totals.
Advertising
We show ads through Google AdSense to keep daily.surf free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. The ad networks never receive your placements or scores.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ad Settings, and out of other vendors' personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

- In the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland, Google asks for your consent before using cookies for ads, and you can change your choice at any time through the privacy settings it shows on this site.
Children
daily.surf is a general-audience trivia game about public companies. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
Because we don't know who you are, we can't look up or tie any record to you. You can remove everything stored on your device by clearing this site's data, and manage ads as described above. If you have a question or a request, write to us.

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
