Each question has one true number. Type your best guess and press Enter: it's in, and the next one's up. The closer you get, the bigger the trick, and five judges score your wave out of 10.

Every answer comes from a published source, quoted and linked in the results. No clock: take your time. One scored game per device per day; replays are practice.

How to play

Four questions a day, the same for everyone, each with one true number. A new set rolls in at midnight Pacific.
Type your best guess at each: plain or shorthand, like 1,250, 40k, $3.5M or 2.5 billion. Press Enter and it's in, and the next one's straight up.
A guess scores by how many times off it is, either way: spot on is 10, 2× off (half or double) 7.0, 3× off 5.2, and 10× off or more 0. Every doubling costs the same, so being 2× off on 300 is as close as 2× off on 3 billion.
The whole heat is one wave, and every guess is a trick on it: the closer, the bigger. The card shows each answer and how far off you were; the results show where every answer comes from.
After the fourth, five judges score your wave out of 10: the average of your four guesses. Your first game on a device counts; replays are practice.
